In BLUE I read about Bobby getting polio, a deadly disease. He was taken to the hospital in a hearse. While momma and Bobby were gone, Junior and Ann Fay had to take care of Ann Fay's two little sisters Ida and Ellie. An epidemiologist, a man who studies diseases, came to Ann Fay's house to tell her to wash everything and burn her brother's toys.
